My husband and I are looking for a long-term relationship with a nanny. We are looking for approximately 30 hours per week, beginning January 2009. The job would entail taking care of our 2 year old daughter and 7 month old son as our adorable nanny will be leaving us to begin her student teaching at the end of the year.

We are looking for the following:

1. Monday - Friday from 8/9 a.m. - 2/3 p.m. with opportunity for 5-10 additional hours
2. Nanny to provide own transportation
3. Start January 2009
4. CPR certification a bonus
5. Experience with infants a bonus

We are in search of a full-time nanny for our 7 week old daughter, beginning in November. The ideal candidate is fun, energetic, patient, and caring, with a good sense of humor. The position would be 4-5 days a week from 8-6 at our home in Victoria, BC

This position is perfect for someone who is mature (preferably 35+), needs a family to be part of, wants to live in a very nice home, your own furnished room, own bathroom, have room and board, car use, car insurance, potential travel with family, unlimited sick days, 2 weeks paid vacation per year, and is looking compensation to cover non-essentials. Compensation $350 per week , with bonus opportunities in the future and annual increases.

We are a very kind, warm, loving family seeking a non-smoking, full time live in nanny for our 13 month old daughter. If we are all happy, we prefer to have you for 5 plus years, but need someone willing to make a 2 year committment.

You must be female, have legal ability to drive (if you don't have a driver's license already, we are open to teaching you), non-smoking, clean record and previous employer references upon request.

Responsibilities - full child care, cook 2-3 dinner meals per week so we can all sit and eat together, light-housekeeping (keep kitchen tidy and clean up after/with our daughter). No heavy housework (we have a cleaning person bi-weekly already).

Hours - usually 5 to 5 and 1/2 days per week, flexible (can discuss). We need someone who is somewhat flexible with their availability.
